Channels
Pause and reset
Pausing stops new conversations landing without unlinking anything; reset disconnects the channel properly.
Two controls, on Project → Channels, with very different weights.
Pause
Pausing stops new conversations landing on your boards. Your WhatsApp stays linked. Messages sent while paused remain on your phone — they are simply not brought in.
- Conversations already on your boards stay exactly where they are.
- Resuming starts including new conversations again.
- The change is reflected in the dashboard immediately and takes effect on the incoming side within about a minute.
Pause is the right control for a holiday shutdown, or a migration window where you do not want new work arriving.
Pausing does not stop agents replying to conversations that are already on your boards.
To stop replies, turn the boards' agents off — see
On and off.
Reset
Reset disconnects the channel. It is the deliberate, heavier action:
- The channel is unlinked. Nothing arrives until you reconnect.
- Existing conversations stay on your boards — resetting the channel does not erase your work.
- You can reconnect at any time from Boards.
Use reset when you are changing number, handing the workspace over, or clearing a connection that has gone wrong and needs to be made fresh.
