WhatsApp
Getting started
What Calypso WhatsApp is, what you set up first, and the order the onboarding takes you through.
Calypso WhatsApp puts every incoming WhatsApp conversation on a Smart Board — a board with a job, its own knowledge, and a Calypso Agent working each conversation toward it. Setup takes one sitting.
The order of setup
Onboarding runs in this order, and each step is resumable — you can leave and come back.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Connect | Pair the WhatsApp number your customers already message. See Connect your number. |
| Profile | Your name and phone, used for account and billing. |
| Set up | Describe what you want to get done on WhatsApp. Calypso proposes the boards, their columns, and an agent for each. See Set up. |
| Plan | Choose a plan. The trial runs with Pro entitlements. |
| Activate | Checkout, then your workspace opens. |
Connect comes first, before you pick a plan. Calypso wants conversations landing on
boards as early as possible, so the rest of setup has something real to work on.
After setup
You land on Boards. From there the three things worth doing first:
- Open a board and read its objective and columns. They came from what you typed in Set up, and they are yours to edit. See Columns and objectives.
- Check what the board knows. Each board answers from its own sources. See Knowledge on a board.
- Decide which boards the agent answers on. Every board has its own switch. See On and off.
Where things live
| You want to | Go to |
|---|---|
| Work conversations | Boards |
| Add or review knowledge | Context |
| Shape how an agent answers | Agent Builder |
| Try an agent before customers do | Playground |
| Pause or reset the WhatsApp channel | Project → Channels |
| Read what the agent did and why | Logs |
Playground and Agent Builder configure buckets and agent policy, so they are documented with Calypso Context.
